Cisco Aironet Troubleshooting ReportTiger Issues - Version: 3.0.1, 8/15/2005 12:13PM PST

Unfortunately this driver does not work well with Tiger. I *does* actually work for a while, but sometimes the computer will freeze which can only be fixed with a hard reboot.

Hopefully they will fix this soon.

Cisco Aironet CommentaryBUT... - Version: 3.0.1, 3/16/2005 02:16AM PST

try actually downloading the firmware file from the awful Cisco website; their registration procedure is the lengthiest I have ever seen. Of course I faked all my details, so what's the point I wonder. I am surprised they didn't ask for my life insurance details too as I was ready to shoot myself by the time I finally downloaded the file.

Cisco Aironet CommentaryWorks great...but.... - Version: 3.0.1, 1/27/2005 01:16PM PST

I had to upgrade the firmware on the card I had.

michaelj2 you can download the firmware from the Cisco web site. It will say it is a .exe file but you simply unstuff the file and it creates a .img file. Then use the utility to update the firmware by selecting the .img file. I have just done it without a problem.
