Kernel Panic at startup. Impossible to install

A real crap, a pain in the ass, a kernel panic generator. Can't start with that driver installed in my Cube with Dual 7447 1.7 CPU. Need to bot in safe mode to trash it. Be aware!

PLEASE READ !!!!! ****** DON'T Believe the Hype -Below - to a point ****** Was able "to successfully" install "update" the word is install... In safe mode managed to install then never loaded during verbose mode throttle issue. Then with FORCE restart severely corrupted by hard drive to the point where disk first aid in both Install DVD and classic could not fix this is Severe!!!! I had to resort to rebuilding the desktop remember that option??? In classic? After doing that I was able to revert AGAIN Back to 10.4.7 the ONLY stable OS for upgrade cards...
In my Opinion this is MacSales and Powerlogix FEBEL attempt for a fix for an OS that apparently is figuring out how to disable these card from working...
Next year I am buying a new Mac and selling my Card on eBay and NEVER refer anyone to MacSales / OWC again.
They have your money but no support...

4 months waiting for a update that is even worse than 2.3b5 because with 2.3b5 at least you get an error message instead of your OS Freezing.
If this is sign of how PowerLogix and MacSales supports their products, would think twice about supporting them....

I have a TiBook 1GHz that I over-clocked to 1.2GHz and this is the only app that accurately displays CPU speed, 1.2GHz full and 667MHz reduced. Any other app seems to read some setting still showing 1GHz - even when the processor is reduced.

3 MONTHS!!! Hey i'll be happy if they just continue supporting 10.4.x til the end, wouldn't mind if they didn't support 10.5. Who knows if 10.5 will even run on a PPC... may be INtel only... It did freeze while installing CPU Director... reboot and it fine now.

Upgraded the OS three times already, GigaDesigns just works perfectly! (There is no driver to update) I was going to buy PowerLogix first but their techsupport is terrible now. Also, searching through these comments convinced me.

All I can say is FINALLY. This wait was just crazy! If this happens again I will not buy nor will I recommend Powerlogic products ever again. Because of the wait I cannot and will not give it a good rating. [How can I] The software works but Apple has come out with 2 updates and PL none until today! What are they going to do, keep us at bay every 2 upgrades? How long a wait until we get one that works with Leopard. I have to just laugh at that!!! Hopefulyy by then I will have a new Comp!
