GifBuilder Carbon CommentaryThis Version Has Poor CLUT Management - Version: 1.0, 7/24/2006 11:05AM PST

Raptor007 (Raptor007)
Several options in the Options:Color menu don't work properly in this version. These are vital for making good-looking animated GIFs!

I was thrilled to see GifBuilder come out in Carbon form, but I'm going to have to keep using 0.5 in classic environment for now. I would love for the author to fix things so the carbon version is as powerful as v0.5.

You can download v0.5 here:

GifBuilder Carbon Troubleshooting Reportdoesn't add frames - Version: 1.0, 6/6/2006 05:42AM PST

Help! I'm on OSX Tiger 10.4.6, and have tried GifFun, which didn't work, and now this programme.
I can't add any frames at all. I've tried drag and drop, which ignores me, and also "add frame" from the drop down menu at top. This opens the pictures folders but the names of all the pics I want are in grey and can't be chosen.
I've tried different formats of pics, but none of them work.

I noticed one other post like mine ~ are we the only ones who can't make it work? Other people here are on OSX, how have you made it work?

Cheers ANYONE! I'm still without a Gif builder of any kind and it's driving me mad. I make the occasional pic for an MSN icon etc, so don't really think it's worth paying for it.
And if these two programmes don't work on OSX 10 (or don't seem to), why would I trust a third one?
