This used to be my favorite editor, but frequent crashes of the application have forced me to stop using it.

Jedit X ReviewInterface needs update - Version: 4.2.3, 11/26/2004 04:32PM PST

I've only taken a quick glance at this program, but it's already clear that this is a Mac OS 8 program in all-too-revealing Mac OS X clothing. This is not an Aqua app. Its interface does not match my expectations of software running in Mac OS X. It may have all sorts of fantastic features, but being a Mac user, I have to care about how it looks, and so, I'll delete Jedit and move on to some of the other titles I'm evaluating (Tag, skEdit, Smultron)...

The name of this app is confusing with the Java freeware code editor jEdit.
