Do not use if you're easily offended. Would like to see a broader search of joke sites, as well as categorization and the ability to choose/filter results.

with 'milk', this program does exactly what it is supposed to do "fetch jokes" and does it with a flawlessly, therefore I give it the stars it deserves! If there was to be any improvement, I think it would be the ability to choose from different categories of jokes.

guys are being incredibly unfair, it does exactly what it says: "This program fetches jokes off of the web, filters out the banners, and displays the joke on the screen for you to laugh at."

does fetch jokes off the internet. But its jokes all come from the same place - www.newjoke.com !!!! You can just as easily get the same jokes by visiting that web page. I used OT SessionWatcher to figure this out- it intercepts TCP stuff being sent to and from your computer, and displays the text. Every time you retrieve a new joke with this software, it is coming from www.newjoke.com ... you can double check this yourself with Interarchy 4.0 (I think that is the updated version of OT Session Watcher). And yes, Delete02, it would have been a brilliant idea if it actually did what it implies!
