Nice but it could be improved. - Version: 1.0, 7/19/2003 05:04AM PST

I've had another program just like this. LogicPICT (latest version 1.5). Problem is it's in Japanese. The Japanese one does things like: Checks off the reference numbers when you've completed that section, gives mouse reference, color puzzles (those are cool), even solves puzzles for you (just put in the numbers instead of the blocks). And a whole lot more.
It's only in Classic and I don't think it's supported anymore but it could be a good reference for things to add to this program.

Great game. Only…

a few additions would make this perfect. I've been using it for a long time, but decided to come post a comment. I wish there was a way of highlighting the row and column numbers that correspond to the current mouse row and column, for easier lookup. I also wish completed rows and columns could go grey, or something, i.e. disabled, to show they're finished. Also, the app's application menu thinks it's called MyApp. And lastly, the Read Me is a little sparse. It doesn't tell you that holding command, shift, or command+shift change what you place down. But a great game nonetheless.
Great: The source code is included, so the various missing features requested here may be added by 'anyone'.
Not so great: A bit beyond me to hack those features into the app. Maybe one day...
