Product Description:

Text-mode e-mail client, resembling the SLRN newsreader and developed by the author of Elm. Fast, extensible, and well-maintained. Supports POP3, IMAP, PGP/GPG. Requires an outbound mail transport agent, such as sendmail, exim, or postfix. Free software under the GNU GPL.

please look at the date of my previous post. Back in May, the only link was to the open source of mutt which was not ported to MacOS X. Now that there is a MacOS X version, I look forward to trying it out.

has ported the program to Mac OS X, so yes, it IS a MacOS X program. He did, however put the wrong link in the product info. It should be http://www.imdat.de/mutt_osx/ That'll get you to the OS X binaries which will run on OS X.
