KateSorensenI requested refund and cancellation of VersionTracker Pro and received an email from TechTracker Support. Will let this page know when my Credit Card shows the refund.
Seems the company is working fair and I thank them for that.
I used the product and or Version Tracker for 7 years more or less.

Your VersionTracker Pro (10)/MFI Pro subscription has been renewed.
In my previous Commentary you will see I received a refund because Version Tracker Pro is defunct! [Also note that on this page you appear to be "offering" VTPro for $49.95.
I would like to edit my billing information on the Version Tracker page, but unfortunately after logging in to that page, my credit information is not there. Neither is much of anything else, including the ability to contact VTPro "Support" via web mail.
I have placed a phone call to the phone number in the email sent to me:
877-507-TECH (8324)
I have not received a return call after leaving messages.
Please advise.

1. After using VT Pro for 4+ years, I read that it will be replaced by a piece of junk called TechTracker. Oh, goody.
2. After trying out the new MacUpdate Desktop 5.0 this afternoon and:
a. having it find a lot more out-of-date software than VT Pro
b. discovering that it costs $20/year for up to 5 Macs
I think it is time to say farewell (and not fondly) to VersionTracker and VT Pro.
It is sad to see what CBS has done to this once great and very useful product.

I have been a loyal subscriber to Version Tracker Pro for at least 10 years. In the past, I did notice a couple of glitches, either reporting that my version was not up to date when in fact it was, or failing to report my version needed to be updated. For most of those cases, I would just check skip version and go on. Tonight I checked and my VT desktop application showed I had 17 out of date apps, most because they were paid upgrades which I decided to wait on. I ran MacUpdate Decktop just to check, and to my amazement, it reported 50 applications were out of date. When I checked further, this was not in error. Version Tracker Pro was not scanning all of my software. I have checked preferences, done everything to trouble shoot. This is not working even close to right. What a shame! My subscription was up in four days, and I just told them not to bother renewing my account. I just can't see paying for something which is so inaccurate : (
