Product Description:

Brickles Pro is not your typical ball and paddle game. Brickles Pro features adjustable colors and patterns, adjustable ball and paddle sizes, stereo sounds, adjustable speed and window sizes, various brickle array designs, and more. Even the number of paddles in the game can be changed.
Brickles Pro is suitable for everyone from the very youngest children first learning to use a mouse, to fast-paced arcade fans, from grandparents to grandchildren.
Brickles Pro includes a new icon in the Brickles Pro Toolbar allowing the user to chose from among various built-in brickle array designs. Brickles Pro will then use the chosen design for every level of the game, if desired. A random mode may also be chosen to allow each level of the game to use a randomly selected brickle design array.
Brickles Pro also now supports the new Brickles Pro Online Hall of Fame web page. When a user gets a new high score, the user is given the option to publish that score on the public Brickles Pro Online Hall of Fame web page, thus sharing and comparing scores with users from around the world. Brickles Pro now even tweets High Scores!

Try lbreakout and lBreakout2.5. They are beautifully done and funto play either windowed or full screen. They have gorgeous built in themes asa well as at least 15 different games plus levels and oh yes by the way they are both free and available on Version Tracker. They don't charge $25 and they beat this thing by miles.

I have followed this game since it's release and still love to see that it is available - even on Mac OS X. It has a retro simplistic charm that is hard to find these days. Many thanks to the developer for keeping this old favorite alive!

The only exception is that the app is archaic and really fit for OS7. I am not alone in my opinion as anyone can see by reading the comments. "Res Ipsa Loquitor" (The thing speaks for itself) I have opined and have NEVER used another identity to do so. I have a right to an opinion and I intend to exercise it. If the developer wants to do the right thing he should either make this freeware or reduce the fee to $3. That is really the top value of this app. If he wants to be egregious he can continue charging $25. He can expect criticism now and in the future despite his futile attempts to stifile our rights here in this forum.
