Synchronize you Newton Messagepad's or eMate's Names & Dates Applications with Microsoft Entourage v.X

What's new in this version:

  • Dates Synchronization - Sync repeating meetings and events, exceptions to repeating meetings and events, locations and alarms.
  • Wireless Connectivity - Connect via Appletalk over wireless ethernet (802.11x).
  • Speed - Fly through data transfers up to 5 times faster than previous versions.
  • Microsoft's Synchronization API - Provides fast access to Entourage's names, calendar, to-do's and notes. (To-do's and notes will be implemented in future releases of Newtourage.)

There's no (complete) way to communicate with the Newton without using Classic. Microsoft's API only works under Carbon. So, the app is split into two parts and uses AppleEvents to relay data between the two. Actually, it's pretty effective.

don't quite get it: This is a OS 9 / Classic app, designed to sync with Entourage X that runs under MacOS X *only* - ? Seems to me like a plane without wings on the highway. Sure, you do arrive some day, but...
