iTunes 9.0.2 works very well for me

I've been using iTunes for Mac OS X since iTunes 7.X was introduced. All versions have worked well for me including 9.0.2. I restart and repair permissions before installing anything. And since iTunes makes changes to system files, I restart and repair permissions after installing iTunes, or any other software that makes changes to system files. I use iTunes to look around the Apple Store, to purchase TV shows and music, to rip CDs, to put music on my two 2nd generation iPod Nanos, and to stream TV shows and music to my Apple TV. If iTunes 9.0.2 works for me it should work for anyone because my computer is a Power Mac 7300 with a Sonnet 450MHz G3 running Mac OS 10.4.11 via Xpostfacto. Since Software Update won't identify iTunes 9.X as being available for my G3 (i.e., my mac is not a G4 or higher as officially required), I have to use the stand-alone installer, which doesn't care that I only have a G3. Since my mac runs at only 450MHz, I obviously don't watch videos on my mac, and the last few versions of iTunes haven't run very fast on my slow mac, but otherwise iTunes 9.0.2 works fine for me. Very stable. Absolutely no crashes. And I'm very happy the option has been added for a dark background once again in grid view.

I have a G4 17" flat screen running on 10.4.11. I won't go to Leopard because I believe it was designed for more modern machines and judging from what I've read I'm glad.
Now for Itunes. I don't know what Apple is thinking by forcing us consumers to be guinea pigs for their buggy software in their single largest attraction and application. Dear Apple what you are doing is dumb. All your customer service agents are told to lie about any app that has a lot of problems and they all claim to have NEVER heard one complaint re: itunes 9.0.2. Yet it seems like everyone is having problems I know I wish I had stayed with the old itunes. Now I hear that the itunes will not allow one access unless they had downloaded the buggy 9 itunes.
So has anyone figured out how to fix the bugs w/out downloading the latest buggy version that seems only for itv which I don't have.

So... although iTunes 9.02 is no good for me Time Machine gets 5 stars.
