Product Description:

Mac DooMLegacy is a Macintosh port of DooMLegacy for Windows/Linux. It uses OpenGL to enhance DooM's graphics and add extra features like wall splats and dynamic lighting. It supports any origional DooM/DooM2 wad file.

What's new in this version:

No more missing textures (finally)
Support for 8 mouse buttons (4 on each mouse)
No longer crashes after long periods of play
Plays DooM music by default (and not mp3s)

This is a great port. It even works at unusual widescreen resolutions. Slight graphics glitches (nothing major), and otherwise just wicked smooth. Anyone have a link to download the original full Doom/Doom2 WADs?

quite simply awesome and it doesn't need a G5 to play well - though i am using a dual G5 without any troubles. A superb chance to play doom / heretic all over again, and why now! Download this today!!!!!

kuran.bmr

allows me to play Heretic in OSX deserves 5 stars. One suggestion I have, add a .wad selector window on startup so I don't have to shuffle game .wads if I want to play a different game.
