Roxio FALSELY CLAIMS that "Toast 5.1 or later and Jam 5 or later should support all USB drives.".
as for example at: http://www.roxio.com/en/support/roxio_support/toast/usb_891.html
This is BLATANTLY FALSE. I've been going back and forth to my computer dealer trying to get a compatible USB CD-RW for my iMac DV SE(mac OS 9.2.2).
We've tried a few ASUS models, a Plextor and a few from LG (GCE-8526B).
None of them worked with Toast Titanium 5.23. I am an experienced MacOS developer, I've followed every possible

I am sick, sick ,sick of it. Thank you Roxio

I managed to get a competing product working on the first try (guess which)...

grossman - the registration number requested is neither TSID or SN. On the back cover of the original Toast 5 CD ROM, there is a CD-Key number. Give that a try and you should be able to open the application.

Thanks for the buffer underrun protection! This solves my problem of having to burn dvds with my Pioneer 106d at a slower than 4x speed it was made for. I sent the support department several emails on this issue and they responded appropriately but never committed to when they would release the update, which didn't take long. Roxio should be commended for updating an application that has been superceeded by a totally new version. As for the <accept> button, it lights up after you scroll to the bottom. The cd key code can be found on the label on the cd jacket from when the product was purchased. Fast installation and fast registration. As far as uninstalling the old app, it is in a folder. Just drag the application to the trash. The full manual that came with Toast is a good reference, too.
