lame. All it does is play a short animation (you can choose from several and create your own). It may in fact be generated on the fly, but it needn't have been. A simple 2D animation of pre-rendered shapes would have worked just as well, you wouldn't be able to tell the difference between that and this, and it would have worked without a 3D card.

They're not even entertaining animations. For my freeware screensaving money, I'd still recommend the Maya Paint Effects screen saver.

They use both 3dfx and ATI acceleration and they have a bunch of awesome screensavers!
