dedicated Adaptec user, 7 machines, all running adaptec cards, Mac and PCs. But Adaptec has left us high and dry. Now we are switching to ATTO. The new Fast SCSI cards are faster and more compatiple than Adaptec.

to agree with "koala" and "goneglobl". Adaptec does not seem to care about users that had invested in their products two or three years ago. (...and finally without these users, no manufacturer would be able to develop new products....) I have a HotConnect 8945 in my Mac, and officially it is not even supported with MacOS 9 (although it works...)
