Product Description:

Mail Forward allows you to forward mail from up to 20 Microsoft Hotmail, Yahoo web mail, or standard POP e-mail accounts to any e-mail address.

Mail Forward works by accessing your Hotmail, Yahoo, or POP mailbox and forwarding each piece of mail through your SMTP mail server. Mail that is successfully forwarded can be deleted from the mailbox, or can be left on the server. The original mailbox address is used as the return address for the forwarded mail, so if the mail is undeliverable it will be returned to the original account.

A built-in scheduling feature allows mail to be forwarded automatically at a specified time interval.

Mail Forward also includes a basic scripting capability that allows you to use AppleScript to automate the forwarding of e-mail.

What's new in this version:

Alert boxes for server errors now include a button to retry the account.
If an error occurs during auto-forwarding, the account will be retried one time before it is skipped, and the action taken will be noted in the log window.
A new Verify Mail Format SMTP Option checks message headers for valid e-mail address formatting and ensures that message lines do not exceed 1024 characters, to accommodate SMTP servers that reject incorrectly formatted messages.
The Add/Change Account dialog now includes an Account Type selection, to make entering account information easier by showing only the relevant fields for the type of account.
An optional port number can now be specified for POP and SMTP servers.
Corrected a problem using the Leave Mail on Server option with Yahoo accounts, where mail previously forwarded was being forwarded again after emptying the Yahoo Trash folder.
Corrected a problem where messages with large attachments from Yahoo accounts could be truncated.
Corrected a problem where messages with large attachments could cause an SMTP server timeout on asynchronous connections (ADSL, cable).

A port setting for the SMTP server would be a great help. With Mail Forward hard coded to use port 25 and me using an ISP that forces all SMTP through their slow servers, my forwarded email is delayed up to several hours.

Right-Aid

on OSX and OS 8.6. The app works as advertised. THANK YOU for finally ridding me of Yahoo! and Hotmail web interfacces for my email! Now I can use my own email client's ilters to rid me of spam. This great app also allows me to read all of my mail in one place...no more logging into several web-mail accounts just to read emials. If testing continues successfully, then I will thank you with my registration fee. :)
