Product Description:

The Adobe SVG Viewer is a plug-in that your Web browser will use to render Scalable Vector Graphics (SVG). Adobe Illustrator 9.0 will export SVG directly. SVG (Scalable Vector Graphic) is an open-standard vector graphics language that lets you design Web pages with exciting, high-resolution graphics including such sophisticated elements as gradients, embedded fonts, transparency, animation, and filter effects, using plain text commands. The Scalable Vector Graphic format is based on XML (Extensible Markup Language) and is being developed by a working group of the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C).

Jiggs Up
from VersionTracker with no problems. It places one file, "SVGView", on the desktop: double click that and the application gets installed. No Read Me or anything beforehand. It replaced some of the SVG 2 files, but not all of them. I'd previously colour coded all the SVG 2 files so I just trashed the remainder. Seems to work okay, although now I can't find the test page.

Pyrrhus2
indeed the most obscure I've seen, and I don't quite agree with the idea of developing yet another platform, or whatever this means. Finally, has anybody been to the demo: http://www.dbxgeomatics.com/SVG-Demo.asp I think it's kind of lame stuff.

far the way of the future. It's fast, flexible, compatible with virtually anything (including handhelds) and it's non proprietary.... unlike flash.
