a really old version now - the CD that I got with a scanjet 4400 the other day contained version 3.12 which seems to work absolutely fine, at least as far as the Photoshop plugin is concerned.

of the HP ScanJet Copy Utility installed as part of the 3.0.1 update crashes with an Error Type 4 every time I hit the copy button. But I can use the old 2.51 version of the copy utility with the rest of the 3.0.1 update and it works fine.

emails asking for the driver In the hp.com's scanjet 6300c page i found the email i had to contact to receive the drivers. I live in switzerland and contacted hp france, i've send my scanners sn and two weeks later i've received two cd's with the programs (including a OCR) and the drivers both in english and spanish. it was version 1.4.2 and i've had no problems to update ir to version 3.0 =0)
