ZapResForks - 1.1

It is simply a program which allows you to delete the resource fork from a file, while leaving the data fork intact. So why would you want to do that? Well, SimpleText adds a resource fork to every file it modifies, whether it has different fonts or not, which is quite a waste of disk space. ZapResForks provides a quick way to remove all font/style information from text files. ZapResForks supports Apple Events, so you can drag hundreds of files onto the ZapResForks icon to get rid of all the resource forks in one go.
