Download takes forever. It has been around for months and is NOT for the latest machines. This 2.57/3.01 version came with my Wind Tunnel Power Mac but is not authenicated for use on that machine.

Macsure
will keep me from TechTool and Norton Utilities is the wildly varying accounts of users -- pro and con on forums like this. Using either of these utilities thus seems a crap shoot with serious consequences for the unwary. I'll stick with Alsoft's Disk Warrior, which I've used continuously since getting my iMac 2 yrs ago with completely positive results.
