Product Description:

WaveBurner is the ultimate software for Audio CD Mastering using the Mac. Used in connection with an Audiowerk2 card, (includes WaveBurner), or an Audiowerk8 card, you can record your DAT tapes, (or other sources), directly to hard disk. All the while, your CD document automatically grows in the background... You won't waste any more time converting the sample rate in your sample editor. WaveBurner converts your 48 kHz DAT output to the red book required 44.1 kHz - in real time, during recording. This remarkable program is ready to create your master CD whether for glassmaster, archive, or Redbook master for final duplication.

Emagic WaveBurner ReviewWorks like a… - Version: 2.2.1, 11/11/2002 03:50PM PST

stug
charm with my Yamaha 3200 firewire (with G3/300 678Mo/111Go). Read the doc for firewire support. WB doesn't stand Toast CD Reader, nor FireWire Authoring Support. Use only Toast FireWire Support OR WB FireWire Support, not both together. Only 1 extension (Toast FireWire Support) let me use either Toast/Jam or WaveBurner. By the way, WB is way superior and easier than Jam... but it's not OSX friendly...

issues are resolved for me, including one not mentioned in the update readme- when using keyboard shortcuts to snap the insert point to the beginning of a track, the wave view window scolls to follow it, as it did under previous versions.
