with an Error 2, rendering all of my files invisible including the HD, and preventing the system from starting, Ghost Hunter was able to retrieve all of the invisible files. By reinstalling the Mac OS, using Norton Disk Doctor to fix a few things, and fixing a couple of other minor things by hand all was back to normal. The Ghost Hunter interface is easy to use, the results quick, and it performs exactly as described. Definitely worth the $15 shareware fee.
