this product to be really great on my PowerBook. With the ability to change or even disable cache when on battery, It has allowed me to stretch my battery time.Now I have a G4 Powerbook and am unable to get an update. Darn!

Firewire PB G3. Noticeable speed improvement with cache set to 1:1:5. Haven't used any benchmark tests but it feels snappier.
