Voodoo is easy to use softwarethat turns your computer into aprogrammable 'beat box' thatplays samples and StandardMIDI files. Samples and drumpatterns can be triggered fromthe computer keyboard, a MIDIcontroller, or a MIDI applicationrunning on the same CPU. Noadditional hardware is required. All functionality is accomplishedwithin one window containingmultiple 'drum pads.' Samplesare assigned to pads by simplydragging a sample from harddisk to the pad. Clicking a paddisplays its individual controlparameters for pitch, volume,filter, pan, velocity, envelope,mute group, and two effectsprocessors. Up to four samplescan be layered on a pad forswitching with velocity or othercontrollers.
