What's new in this version:

This Alpha Centauri is provided first and foremost to fix a problem in MacOS 9.1 where absolutely black pixels in Alpha Centauri are white. This is intended to be a temporary replacement for any previous version of the Alpha Centauri application file, as it is not complete.

I e-mailed Brad; the Carbon build is at <http://www.brad-oliver.com:8080/~boliver/SMAC_Carbon.sit>. Beware, it's buggy when saving games. (Mind you, I always had that problem with the Classic version too.)
