Product Description:

QC brings a new kind of Quality Control to QuarkXPress users. Use QC throughout the life of a job interactively to check QXP documents for integrity. Save most of the time that is wasted between production studios and proof reading by running a QC check. QC will catch many of the problems that a proof reader would normally flag. Problems like a space before a comma, misaligned boxes, text outside of live area (and many more) are found instantly. As a native XTension for QuarkXPress, QC quickly generates an interactive list of problems. Click on an item in the list, and QC transports you to that part of the document, where you'll find the problem highlighted. This 5-star (Publish, 2000) product is also a full-featured preflight tool finding problems with color usage and image resolution, misalignments and much more.

been part of my normal workflow for over a month and I am delighted. Getting the preferences set up for precisely what I wanted it to check for took some time, mostly because of the many options you have. But now I can run my quality checks while working in the Quark doc, and just click the icon to go directly to the problem element and fix it. And it's FREE!
