previous comments, it's also counting all downloads double (so 100 megs downloaded shows as 200 megs). It's been suggested this is due to PPPoE?

counting- not so well at saving. I have it set to save every three minutes, yet after the computer crashes, the count reverts to what it was at the last restart. Even a controlled quit- the count was 143 megs, I quit the application and restarted it and it was 138 megs (strange, because the application isn't even supposed to be needed). And twice the preference file got corrupted and had to be trashed. I have to look at the total frequently and memorize it, in case I lose it. It would also be nice to have one total for two OS'es. I need a counter like this, but it's of no use until it can save the totals reliably.
