Product Description:

In the distant future a small group of human exiles have been doomed to fight for survival on the edge of the galaxy. Through military strength, espionage and deceit, a unified Terran government has maintained an uneasy peace. As resources run short, however, these Confederate nations find themselves looking towards the rich worlds of their alien neighbors, the enigmatic Protoss. To further complicate matters, it seems that a previously unknown and deadly species known only as the Zerg has entered Protoss space and is destroying everything in its path. The time for war has come...

Blizzard StarCraft ReviewThis is why Blizzard is still the best - Version: 1.16.1, 8/30/2009 07:38PM PST

It's perfect on an Intel iMac and a G4 iBook. Thanks, Blizzard, for hanging on to a good thing.

Also, I followed John's advice, all's well:

"Put the "Brood War Archive" file (or the Starcraft Archive" file if you don't own the Brood War expansion) from the CD into the Starcraft Files folder (which is inside the Starcraft Folder), not the Starcraft Folder."

Blizzard StarCraft CommentaryWould Buy again if Blizzard ported them to the Intel CPU - Version: 1.15.2, 1/17/2008 12:00AM PST

I had both the Starcraft and Warcraft games on my old PPC iMac. Sadly I had to give up on that computer and now run on an Intel based Mac. I would gladly buy these games again if they were ported to the Intel based Mac platform.

I am not into on-line multiplayer games, but ran the built-in scenarios and custom scenarios.

What a great thing not to have to load the disc, or in my case, disc image.
Thanks Blizzard

It really doesn't run on an Intel Mac? at all or super slow?
