The scheduling feature…

alone makes this worth the price, which is now "set your own price", as explained on the developer's website. No such scheduling feature is available on other like programs (including Coaster) as far as I can tell. I like that fact the application closes upon clicking the close box, but closing is somewhat delayed on my iMac 600 OS9.1. Not remembering its previous window position on my screen upon restart is most annoying however.. Looking forward to continued development!!!

you're on OS9: "Coaster" does the same job better, and its freeware. http://www.versiontracker.com/moreinfo.fcgi?id=959&db=mac There is no OSX version of Coaster, so it a good thing Audiocorder is available on X...

but a rather feature-starved program. I prefer using Coaster, which in addition to simple VOX recording, offers many other features that make it easy to create clipped audio files from vinyl records or cassette tapes. It's also free.
