The WebTV� Viewer, which you can download for free, is a personal computer Web browser designed to display your Web pages in much the same way that they'll appear when viewed on a WebTV system either the original Classic or the newer Plus system. The WebTV Viewer is available for both the PC and Macintosh. Use the WebTV Viewer to test your Web pages and preview how they'll look and work when viewed on WebTV.

see an OS X natiev version, but it runs pretty well in Classic. This is great for web dev work, I'm using it to ensure compatability on my site and ad direct-go-to-channel features on my site.

me... I ran it under MacOS 9.1 on a G4 and everything ran great... fast too I might add.

for the Macintosh hasn't even been updated for MacOS 9.x compatibility: it crashes with a Type 11 error. You'd think that Microsoft would bother to create a compatible version, since even they must be aware that much Web development work is done on the Mac. Truly pathetic.
