want to get into a name-calling match with you & Platkus, and I'm not saying that you don't know what you're talking about, but one of the most beautiful things about Apple computers is that they CAN still be useful many years past the age at which a Wintel box is considered obsolete! I just happen to have a Performa 638 and a Macintosh Plus as well as an Apple //e and //gs that all still work. So they can't run all the latest & greatest software and don't have all the newest bells & whistles, but they're still usable. Apps like this that add a useful bell or whistle are always welcomed by those of us who can use them.

what my Quadra 630 needed, thank you! Works great with Mac OS 8.1. And, wonder of wonders, it's even AppleScript-able. Mahvelous.
