an avid user of URL Manager Pro. I too have had many error type 10 crashes that seem to be caused by the 2.8b's. I'm back to 2.71 now. Looking forward to a stable version of 2.8. BTW, I'm running OS 8.6. Maybe the 2.8b's work better with OS 9.

app, but with version 2.8b2 I've had an inordinate number of type 10 errors that require me to restart my machine whenever I have the app running, regardless of whatever else I may have running at the same time. I had it in my startup items folder, as I've had previous versions, and it's done nothing but bring instability to my system. When I removed it from startup items and just launched it manually, the type 10's would start within minutes of when I launched it. I just reverted back to v 2.7.1 and I've had no more type 10 errors so I will stick with v 2.7.1 until the next 2.8 update. Again, I LOVE this program, but there appears to be a bug in this particular version that's making me cranky :)

continually produced an indispensible web utility in URL Mgr. It is worth it's weight in gold++ and I would'nt be without it. BTW, it works fine with my copy of Netscape 6.1.
