not suport MultipleMaster fonts. I have paid money for licensed MM fonts that Mac OS X has rendered obsolete. (Unless I'm uninformed and missing something.) The ability to convert an MM font to Type 1 makes TransType a valuable tool. I suppose the price of TT would only make sense if one had multiple MultipleMaster fonts. Call me a sucker. I had to fiddle with the settings quite a bit to get the results I wanted. The documentation for converting MM fonts was very confusing to me.
Just a followup…

in this program's defense: a set of fonts I converted with TT Converter always had problems with PageMaker - they wouldn't print correctly and were replaced with Courier; a couple of test converts with TransType and the fonts printed great. I don't know who is doing the PS to TT and why it warrants conversation, I am just converting PC .TTF to Mac TrueType.
