stuff if the server is well-configured and not too busy and you don't care about dropped connections and don't need queuing. Try Hefty -- much more robust (but a little greater learning curve.)

saves your comments when you need to log in again, so mine were lost. Bottom line: Transmit is an orphan. Crash-prone and stall-happy (passive mode, Unix). It could *easily* be the best FTP client on the Mac if Panic cared about the $25 I sent them long ago.

Transmit a few months now. Went to it after Interarchy's v5 debacle. All I can say is that using it three to four times per week for website maintenance and other misc stuff works great for me. Glad I bought it, thanks Panic. oh,btw-just option (or is it shift, i forget right now) click the size for a date listing. RTFM, hehe.
