it when a software maker allows us to have a really good look at their software without making it really impossible to use. Text2Graphic is a simple piece of software that allows those who don't know how to use or have access to higher end graphic software. Simple, easy and very flexible. Type in your text, click a few options and you are done! Awesome for those "little" jobs but also good for larger ones. I also used the "lite" version of the software and was curious why money is required. I think it should go along with the BBEdit Lite way of thinking. Overall, a great little package for thos who want it done "now" on websites, print media, or just about anything.

be very useful for creating text buttons for web sites (esspecialy for roll overs) becuase you can easily duplicate the same look over and over again automaticaly. I am hard pressed to find a reasonable situation in which one would need this $70 if they are already not involved in somekind of web or application development. The price is not targeted toward the casual user. So I will assume then that most users interested in such an app already have access to high end graphical software. Unfortunately in that case both Photoshop and Painter provide tools that let the user generate a much larger variety of text effects. Duplicating those effects is no more difficult than letting Photoshop or Painter record your actions to create a script that you can apply to any text you like. What text2graphic does could be a great time-saving tool for web designers, if not a pricey one. I have not tried the Lite version yet.
