small ram & cpu usage.. but, these days, Rumpus, Crush & MacHTTP are all better. Needs updating, until then, i'm sticking with my Rumpus/MacHTTP setup.

ancient and never upgraded web and FTP shareware server that went for $10 and turned it into a demo for $75. They did not even bother to change the version number... perhaps they don't have the sources. The $10 shareware version is still available on some old FTP sites. That's the one to get. It is considerably slower than Webstar 3 on a 68030. Some pluses: It has a very tiny memory footprint and uses very few resources. It will run on almost anything. Using the system sharing setups works quite well. Minuses: When pressed it will jam up and require a opt-cmd-esc to break out. It won't jam up the system, though.

pay so much for so little? Netpresenz has been around forever...its old. It doesn't have any features, and is barely stable with the ones it has. Its burned me several times. Try another FTP server, CrushFTP. Has more features than any other server for any OS. Search for it on versiontracker, or go to http://www.crushftp.com/ Its a modern server for the Mac!
