There is virtually NO descriptive, explanatory, or how to use information about Sounds4Fun on the developer's web page. After downloading and installing the software, I found instructions along with the application, itself, null and void.
I want to use and like the software, but there is just no "how to" information. For example, I see that one should be able to build sound sets, in addition to the Default. I - through trial and error - built additional sound sets only to find I could not enter any "When this happens..." instances (events) in Sounds4Fun for the newly built sets and events in the Default Set do not copy over for new sound sets. I have been left with a blank window for the new sound sets, so they are non-functional. Where are instructions?
There is an e-mail address for the developer but why are there no instructions?
There most definitely should be much more explanation about using Sounds4Fun. Did my installation go awry? Maybe the "ReadMe" or instructions just did not download and install this time.
Is this an effective way to proffer shareware?
(If I have missed something, I apologize in advance to the developer.)

when it was on 9... but where's the X release?
I actually registered Xounds, which tried to do something similar, but more clumsily and with severe system problems due to the APE plug-in..., but Sounds4Fun is superior and more stable.
To easily find select your sounds, drop a folder of your favorite .AIF sound files in the lowest directory on your drive (where you find the System Folder, Library, Applications folder etc.., and it will be easy to find when you choose individual sounds for system events. To avoid monotony, try putting similar sounds in folders inside your favorite sound folder, and you can even select those FOLDERS to randomly play any sound in it for system events.
Thanks for a fantastic program!
