access my old 230 MB MO disks (all 60 of them!). I have a SCSI Pinnacle Tahoe optical drive (SCSI) and while my G3 (Mac OS 9.2.2) recognises the drive it wouldn't mount the disks. SCSIProbe works beautifully. Many thanks to Adaptec.

version 3.5 is still the only reliable way to mount the old Syquest 44 MB drives. This newer version has nicer graphics and works well for adaptec scsi cards.
It works! Have…

G4 Sawtooth model, with Adaptec PCI SCSI card (non bootable version) and could not mount a 88 MB.) SyQuest disk formatted (I think with FWB 2 or 3 HDT. This did the trick!
