Product Description:

PrintToPDF is a shareware Macintosh printer driver that creates PDF (Adobe Acrobat) files. You do not need to have the full Acrobat package (asopposed to the Reader) installed for PrintToPDF to work. You can create PDF bookmarks to your section and subsection headings, and URLs willbecome hot links. PrintToPDF is not as powerful as Acrobat, but it creates simple PDFs for a much lower price ($20).PrintToPDF has been primarily tested with Mac OS 9, but most of it should work with systems back to 7.0. Some of the Asian languagefunctionality requires a PowerMac and the Text Encoding Converter extension. Of course, since it's shareware, you can find out whether it workswell with your system and applications before paying for it. You will need Acrobat Reader 3.0 or later to view the manual and the created PDFs. Toview PDFs containing Japanese, Chinese, or Korean text, you'll need the Asian Font Pack for Acrobat Reader.

What's new in this version:

save your life, help you with your projects or simply save a great deal of time whenever you have texts or images to save. It turns any printable document (images, texts, vectorized drawings, internet webpages, etc) into a beautiful and clean PDF file. I will repeat for those who don't see the point: inside a PDF file, fonts are vectorized and therefore 1/take as little room as possible in the file size and 2/can be enlarged as many times as possible. Which is also true with vectorized drawings, or any vector-converted image that you will process into a PDF file. So basically you will have great quality, printable texts and images for pages and pages with a very small file size... Oh, and of course you can export the file on the net and it is readable on almost every computer on earth. A lot of graphical applications can export to a PDF file when "Print To PDF" is selected as a printer, for example "KurioKolor", "MacSpirographic", "Ball & Stick", "Gadget 9", etc... And of course anything you can "vectorize-draw" from Curvus, Adobe Dimensions, or simple Appleworks. An incredible tool for exporting small files, for saving various and numerous documents onto your disk, for making projects readable anywhere, or just to keep a document somewhere in order to print it later, Print To PDF will change every creator's views on exporting images and texts (writers, graphic designers, virtual painters... etc).
