set this apart: it is secure and it works across networks. While this and MacPop-up are expensive, I haven't found a free msgr for networks yet.

What the versiontracker blurb doesn't point out, and it really needs to point this out, is that QC is a "secure" IM system. It has a client and its own server which are set up internally and do not require a server outside your company to handle your messages. It is not intended for home use (unlesss you hook into your business network from home) nor as a generic internet-wide messaging system. If you're going to review this product, please get it and try it out in the environment it is intended for (secure internal business communication). I'm not flaming at all, just trying to clear the air as to what this product is.
