Product Description:

The LocalTalkPCI extension version 1.2 resolves a problem where certain LocalTalk printers would not show up in the Chooser. Resolves a problem where the mouse would respond erratically when the computer is communicating with LocalTalk devices.

Operating System Requirements:

This product is designed to run on the following operating systems:

  • Mac OS Classic

Additional Requirements:

  • North American English Mac OS 8.1 and is only supported on thefollowing systems:- Power Macintosh G3-based CPUs (except G3-based PowerBooks) and the following models of PCI desktop CPUs: 7200, 7300, 7500, 7600, 8200, 8500, 8600, 9500, and 9600.- Apple Workgroup Server 7250, 7350, 8550, 9650 and Macintosh Server G3.- For CPU speeds between 100MHz and 180MHz, you must have L2 cache memory present; for CPU speeds from 200MHz and greater, L2 cache memory is optional.The LocalTalkPCI driver will not load on any PowerPC PCI Macintoshwith a CPU speed less than 100Mhz.
