Product Description:

This is useful for determining server susceptibility to outside attacks, as well as seeing if a given service is working correctly.

Another use is looking for servers running on machines that should not be running servers. The nightmare of every sysadmin is for a user to privately run a server that compromises the security of the entire network.

PortSniffer can be used to check systems for Hotline server running on different ports from the normal port of 5550 as well. This is useful in finding secret or rogue Hotline sites in an organization.

What's new in this version:

Version 2 adds support for hundreds of new known services, plus the ability to do multiple, simultaneous searches.

application for MAC! ICMP sweep doesnt pick up all the ports, its slow...blah blah blah! It's a kiddy scanner if you ask me.
