me, installed first time. I used Dimm FIrst Aid to check my RAM first though. But overall, my computer seems a little faster than before.
Worked fine here.…

to me that Apple would not include some notification with the Update that it could affect iMacs with additional RAM. I have now learned my lesson - only run an update after checking with VersionTracker. After running this update, the family iMac would not start up at all. Thankfully, I'd just purchased the extended AppleCare plan to get technical support, which amusingly told me that 'any RAM not purchased through the Apple Store could not be guaranteed to work.' So the 256MB I have now is useless, unless my vendor will exchange it. I'm back to 128MB, which, with 9.1 hogging nearly 50MB, doesn't really leave me with much. The main complaint: Apple should have included some warning in the Read Me file - I didn't need the update, but I could sure use my 256MB!
