Very stable painting…

program with a clear and easy to use interface. It does NOT have the converting abilities of 'GraphicConverter' or the photo retouching abilities of Photoshop and the likes, but for 'pixel artists' this may be sufficient. Note: the price is actually $20 (not $15).

editor Painting might sufice for some people's needs, but for me it is severly lacking. It is easy to use and offers a decent set of features but it is also very basic and lacks the power of other shareware graphics editors like GraphicConverter . It certainly doesn't come close to the power of Adobe Photoshop. The paint features might be fun to use but when it comes down to serious graphic manipulation, editing and so forth, they simply aren't very useful. Painting could be a promising program but there are a lot of areas that need improvement. Rather than attempt to throw together a painting program and a graphic editor into one, I think it would be better to focus on the painting aspects. Another graphics editor of interest is: Goldberg

a fool to use a 5-star setting for your own software. It just means people will not trust the rating. Use the ratings to evaluate the quality of your code.
