Product Description:

Name2Win takes a folder full of Macintosh files and adds the correct DOS suffix to their names depending on their type, thus making them compatible for use on Windows PCs. It also converts any characters in the file names that aren't Windows compatible. Ideal if you have to transfer many files from a Mac to a PC.

only gets 4 stars because it crashes when it comes across a nested folder alias and there's no global way of setting the target folder to be the same as the source folder

practical. Many of us Mac users know the majority of filename extensions. .exe = executable .doc = Word document .jpg = jpeg image .gof = gif image la de da.
