scanning trannies on Microtek 4600 with the MTMA (crashed at preview). Having updated I now crash at scan. Scanwizard 5 seems awful with slides. OK with prints, though.

fantastic! I am the IT Manager for 13 newspapers, and we have had nothing but problems with the 5700 Scanners. On a QuickSilver G4 with Photoshop 6, ScanWizard 5.6 (which is shipped with the Scanners) was crashing after every 4th or 5th scan. The Scanner-Button to e-mail a picture doesn't works, because there are bugs in the Scripts.

to work better and they've fixed some bugs, eventhough I've not tried to scan slides yet.
