Works in Finder, but...

Tried it elsewhere and it doesn't. In the iChat BuddyList, for instance. So I'll return to using Fruitmenu -- which works only in the Finder, BTW.

Whenever I use LMNH 2.0b1 the first time after a restart, my active Finder corners (activating Exposé and the screen saver) are made dysfunctional, and in addition some applications are subsequently opened in the background (i.e. behind the active window). These two mishappens are restored after a restart and further appears after using LMNH again.
I am running OS X 10.3.9 on a Power Mac G4 466 MHz.

.
Better off buying Fruitmenu at $10 and getting
a whole 'gaggle' of other very useful features
than spending more ($13) on this one trick pony.

The previous reviewer mentions 'Ittec' but it
doesn't work, as of writing on 10.4.2.
And I would ask them ( Balance Software, Inc.)
- kindly to 'get a move on with it!'

I was the one of those who paid for this product just before it stopped working. I had to go with FinderPop which does the same thing with many add-ons. Sorry, but I don't trust the author of this product any more. I won't pay for it once more even it costs $1.

Here's a guy who wrote a shareware utility for OS 8, and then stopped updating his software years ago. Apparently he stopped making money once it became painfully obvious that FinderPop had a ton more features than his software. To add insult to injury, FinderPop was free and Look Mom was $9.00.
Now he's back, five years after his utility stopped working with the current OS. He wants even more money now, and thinks it's fine to only give his long suffering (past) customers a 30% discount.
How does the old saying go?
"Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me."
I, for one, won't get fooled again.
Maybe we can get Turly (creator of FinderPop) to come up with a free version. Heck, I'd even buy him a few pints of Beamish for his trouble.
This guy won't get one red penny from me.

Used this little App for a lomg time and missed it since i changed to OS X , but now it is back , and is great even if you use a two or three button mouse . Reaction timing until the contextual menue pops up after pressing the mouse can be adjusted now in very fine steps , so your personal style from lazy to impatient can be matched exactly. And you have to try Links in Safari , which can be opend in seperate window or Tab , as you like , every time. It was high time Mr Pisza that you delivered , but now big thanks . And by the way : The design award for the interior of the Installation disk goes to Andreas P. too.

"One Finger Snap" does the same thing for about half the price.

Even IE dropped this feature in the X version of their browser. If you must work one handed and use a trackpad, Look Mom is the answer. Now for the X version...please.
I like the idea, especially since I use my PowerBook exclusively; but I find it annoying that when I hold my left-click down too long while drag-dropping, a contextual menu pops up. This is particularly irritating with some applications that require a great deal of dragging. I thought if I bought the app I would lengthen the pop-up time, but I'm unable to experiment since my registration code doesn't work.
In the same vein, no matter what the price, if one gets nothing for the money, the price is too high.
