Just installed Kaleidoscope last night and had a blast with the various themes and such. Though it slows down the system a small bit, the added variety it brings more than makes up for it. Why they don't tout that this thing works on OS 9.2.2 anywhere other than the FAQ on their site, I don't know. Works fine on OS 9.2.2, have yet to have it crash, nor give me any sort of oddness that has been reported in the Kaleidoscope Issues section(again, on their site). Going to register in 2 weeks, assuming things go as smoothly as they have right now.

since its beginning-right through OS 9.2.2, without any major conflicts (if any), I or CC9 couldn't solve. But after installing the ATI Radeon 9000Pro; Kaliedoscope 2.3.1 crashes the Finder after starting up-followed by a hard lock-up. (ATI always makes me edgy) Hurry up QXPRESS! I want out of 9.2!

article in which Greg Landweber was quoted, apparently there will be no Kaleidoscope for OS X--but not for any lack of trying. It's all about Steve Jobs and his wish to keep tight control of the UI of Aqua. He disallows access to any of the GUI APIs which programs like this one must use.
