Product Description:

iVisit LLC's solution for multi-party video, voice and text chat over intranets and the Internet. iVisit supports color video, multiple simultaneous connections, call screening, flexible quality settings for video, easy no-risk installation and setup, and a built-in directory service that helps you find other users. By exploiting the power of your computer and Internet connection, iVisit turns your desktop into a virtual living room, conference room, pub or cafe -- bringing together live faces and voices for all types of interactive meetings and conversations.

What's new in this version:

Many of the changes are internal, in preparation for upcoming improvements. Visible changes include:
  • If you are joined to a "Listing" then a message will be posted to chat window each time someone joins or leaves. This can be disabled by unchecking "Join Alerts" under Chat menu Settings menu.
  • Code has been modified to work around an audio bug introduced in QT7/Tiger, that would cause corruption in iVisit audio capture.
  • There is a new type of server object called a "Persistent List". If you join a Persistent List, then you remain a member whether logged on our not. The join button for these objects will say "Join persistent list" and those members who are currently online will show green dot. Currently, only the server admin can create Persistent Lists.
  • There is a new "Guest Logon" feature that allows anyone who knows your "guest password" to logon as your guest without registering for their own account. Guests have limited privileges, and can only call/message their own host, or visit their host's own home. Whether this feature is available or not is determined by server settings. If it is not available, the "Change guest password..." menu item under Settings will be disabled. At the moment, it is not available on ivisit.net server, but will be turned on soon.
  • .ivb script files include new options for automatically joining a location on the directory or calling a certain user.
  • Network Stats window shows port information.
  • Bandwidth management has been improved for speedier video.
  • Various bug fixes.

Cubeuser, you are wrong. The term 'Classic' has been used by Apple to designate older operating systems. Classic does not refer to OSX.

early beta available for OS X. Go to this ivisit forum thread for the download link. iVisit is not publicizing it for some reason. It does work, though it is an early beta. http://www.ivisit.org/ubb/ultimatebb.php?ubb=get_topic;f=1;t=003647
