StuffIt Expander ReviewNo double click opening - Version: 7.0.3, 11/22/2004 05:39PM PST

After upgrading from 5.5 to 7.03 there is no double-click opening. I've messed for hours, read all the FAQs and it's apparent that this is strictly a drag & drop app. that requires a desktop icon. Sucks compared to the total background interface of 5.5. Don't upgrade if yours works.

StuffIt Expander ReviewStartup problems wtih B&W Rev 2 - Version: 7.0.3, 2/20/2004 11:38PM PST

After updating, my system refused to fully boot. It was only by using a startup disk and deleting 7.0.3 that my system returned to normal. Other systems may be fine, but beware of potential conflicts. My advice: stay with the old, tried-and-true versions.
